Spencer's Pot Roast


 
1 can beef broth
1 large red onion, sliced
2 tablespoons of diced garlic
1/4 cup of some leftover Shiraz red wine
 
Layer onion slices on the bottom of the crockpot add 1/2 of the garlic. Place roast on top add beef broth and wine spread the rest of the garlic and a few slices of onion on top. Sprinkle with season salt (I use Lawery's). Cover, set crockpot to low and cook for 10 hours (set at 8am ready by 6pm).
