Garlic-Herb Steak

The best way to prepare a perfect steak. Just choose your favorite cut and follow these directions, you will not be disappointed. I promise.

 


Ingredients:

  • 2 Graze The Prairie Steaks

  • 2-3 Tablespoons Graze The Prairie Garlic and Herb Blend

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil or Avocado Oil

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter (REAL Butter)


Directions:

  1. Generously coat each steak with the Garlic and He

  2. Set the steaks aside and bring them to room temperature. At least 30 minutes.

  3. Heat a skillet (I highly recommend cast iron for this) on medium-high heat

  4. Add the oil and the butter to the skillet. Once the butter has melted and is hot (you want a sizzle when you add the steaks) add the steaks.

  5. Cook steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side, depending on your desired doneness. (Medium- rare is between 130°F-135°F )

  6. Remove the steaks from the pan and tent with foil. Let rest for at least 5 minutes.

You can deglaze the pan with beef broth or red wine and serve on top of the steaks if desired.
